Spotting talent across the archipelago, growing it through competition and sending it out to represent Guadeloupe on the biggest international stages.
The Guadeloupe selection brings together the players from across the archipelago who carry our colors in international competition. There is no closed club and no reserved door: you enter the selection through competition, one discipline at a time, at tournaments run or recognised by the federation.
Scouting and qualifying Guadeloupean talent for international competition has been part of the federation's remit since 2015. In practice: we open qualifiers at our events, we spot the players who stand out, and we support those who qualify all the way to departure (coaching, delegation, logistics).
That momentum rests on a network: CEFA across the Caribbean, PEC at the pan-American level, IESF worldwide. That network is what turns a title won in Petit-Bourg or Le Moule into a ticket to a world championship.
The federation does not send players out at random: each competition has its organiser, its zone and its own qualifying route.
