An extraordinary DJ'S battle, Powered by Coca-Cola
When the best Caribbean DJ vibes meet GIGA'GAMES, the result is an unprecedented event. Soca, dancehall, gwoka, HipHop, Afrobeat, Amapiano... mixed with iconic video game and manga sounds (Mario Bros, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece...). For the 3rd edition, the concept collaborated with one of the most beautiful Caribbean Beach Festivals: #KOL KARUKERA ONE LOVE.
How to enter
The competition was open to all DJs from Guadeloupe aged 18 and over. Registration was free, limited to 16 spots. Each participant submitted a vertical video demo of up to 1 min 30 of their mix. On April 9, the 8 selected favourites were announced on the Instagram feeds of Giga'Games, Lyn'C and NRJ. The event was organised by Giga'Games and Lyn'C Music, under the direction of DJ Sky.
The schedule
March 24 to April 7, 2025: online registrations. Sunday April 13, 2025, 4pm: Grand Final at the Palais des Sports Laura FLESSEL in Petit-Bourg with the 8 DJs, a panel of 7 experts and public vote (30% of final score). Saturday April 19, 2025: the 2 finalists battled on the #KOL KARUKERA ONE LOVE stage. Judging criteria: technical skill (10pts), audience energy (7pts), originality (5pts), musicality (5pts), jury favourite (3pts).
The prizes
1st: #KOL 2025 stage + engraved Trophy Powered by Coca-Cola + €150 cash + PlayStation 5 Slim + collectors gift pack. 2nd: #KOL stage + medal + €100 cash + handheld console + gift pack. 3rd: medal + handheld console + gift pack. All 8 finalists also received a gift from Giga'Games.
